For Every Time There is a Season

All emotions and feelings are part of our human experience as God created us to have a spectrum. This is what it means to be human. They are neither good nor bad; feelings are products of our emotions. Emotions are primary and instinctual while feelings are subjective mental associations and reactions. Our feelings are ours and do not need justification, but validation. To accept all of our emotions without judgement is to embrace our humanness. If we sit with our emotions, they will change; they will not remain constant. So there is a time for sadness and a time for joy. For every time there is a season...

- Dr. Rhonda Milner

"To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;" Ecclesiastes 3:1-2, 4
